Due to the weather, Waste Management did not complete trash/recycle pick-up today. They will be back tomorrow (Sunday, December 31, 2017) to complete collection in the remaining areas (generally Westridge and Dexter Crossing).
Thank you for your patience as we clean up after the most recent snowstorm.
DPW crews are out working today completing the last of the snow removal. The streets will need to be widened in some areas (especially those where the presence of cars prevented snow removal), which could result in snow being placed back into driveways. We apologize for the inconvenience to those that have already shoveled. This work will be done during the day today, so that residents and businesses can shovel this evening and should not have to again tomorrow morning.
Due to the warmer temperatures, the ice rink is closed until further notice.
Starting January 8, 2018 City Council meetings will begin at 7 pm on the second and fourth Monday of each month at the Dexter Senior Center (7720 Ann Arbor Street).
Thank you for your patience as we clean up after yesterday's large snowfall. DPW crews will be working overnight in cul-de-sacs and removing snow piles from downtown parking areas.

Winter Storm Warning has been issued for Washtenaw County from 10am through midnight tonight with total snowfall accumulations of 5-8 inches of snow possible. Reduced visibility and poor driving conditions expected today and tonight.
A final round of leaf pick-up will be scheduled once the snow has melted enough that the leaf piles are visible.
