Parks and Recreation

The City of Dexter has multiple parks.  Monument Park is located in the City's downtown area.  Mill Creek Park is a new park along the bank of Mill Creek on the west side of town combined with a redone park, formerly known as Warrior Creek Park, located behind the Fire Station.  Peace Park is located at the top of the hill at Dexter-Ann Arbor Road and Inverness Street.  Community Park is located on the east side of the Village on Ryan Drive behind the Chevrolet dealership.

Parks and Recreation Activities are governed by the City's Parks and Recreation Master Plan.  The Parks & Recreation Commission oversees the planning and development of the City's parks.

Additional recreational facilities are available through the Dexter Schools.

See the Parks and Trails page for information about individual parks and other recreation opportunities within the City.
