Waste Management has started to use new compressed natural gas trucks with an automated collection arm to collect the trash and recycle toters. To accommodate this, toters need to be separated from each other and placed away from trees and parked vehicles so the collection arm can access them. The toters should also be placed so that the lid opens on the road side and the handle faces your home.
The City Department of Public Works uses a wood chipper to chip brush piles set out to the curb on Wednesdays. Brush must be out by 7:00 am. If it is set out after 7:00 am it may not be picked up until the following Wednesday.
